Title of Position
Serves as the primary elementary mathematics resource for a K-12 region and its schools, providing expertise in collaborative activities such as strategic planning and professional development with the goal of ensuring high levels of student achievement in mathematics.
- 5 years or more of experience in Mathematics education and Mathematics - Valid teaching certificate in math at the appropriate level - Knowledge with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook - Effective time management and organizational skills - Effective communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines - The ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance - Work collaboratively with others on a team - Aptitude for variety and changing expectations and fast-paced environment - Deep knowledge of math standards, math learning and assessment - Maintain personal engagement in professional development that enables growth and improvement for this position. - Skill in implementing culturally responsive education practices - Experience with ESL teaching and learning Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics education, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field required. - Master's degree preferred.
